A parent and student reading a book. Davis Reads 45 Days of Summer

Hello 2026 - 2027 Kindergarten Families! We are excited to welcome your child to Pre-K Camp at West Clinton Elementary June 8–11.

Students will spend two hours each day with our kindergarten teachers learning school routines, meeting new friends, and becoming familiar with their new school.
Parents are invited to join Principal Clark in the library after drop-off on Monday morning for a brief welcome and Q&A session.
We anticipate holding Kindergarten Assessments the week before school begins. More information and scheduling details will be sent later this summer.
We look forward to meeting your family and helping your child have a great start to kindergarten!

Such a special day at West Clinton Elementary welcoming back the Clearfield and Syracuse High Class of 2026 graduates as they walked the halls one more time. 🎓
What a full circle moment to see these seniors return to the place where so many of their dreams first began. The smiles, cheers, high fives, and little students looking up to them made it such a memorable day.
We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and excited for all that’s ahead for each of them. Once a Clipper, always a Clipper!! 💙💛🤍
Congratulations Class of 2026! ✨

Thanks to the generous support of the Davis Education Foundation’s Cash for Classroom Grant, Mrs. Brown’s DEEP students at West Clinton Elementary were able to dive deeper into science. The grant funded hands-on materials such as ice melting kits, thermometers, heat-changing boards, and a periodic table of the elements. Thank you, Davis Education Foundation!

Book Fest Live! Books, Activities, Prizes, Family Fun! March 4 and 5.

America is turning 250 — and our students have something to say.

Davis School District is hosting Voices of a Nation: Student Perspectives on 250 Years of America, a districtwide speaking event aligned with America 250 Utah.

Students from every school and grade level are invited to apply to deliver an original speech about America’s past, present or future.

Selected students will receive mentorship and take the stage on May 4, 2026, at the Davis Instructional Services Center in Layton. The event will be professionally produced and live streamed for the community.

You don’t have to be famous to have something worth saying.

Take the mic. Share your idea. Be part of the story.

Applications due March 18.
